Raspberry Pi Vision Tracker

The HUSKYLENS 2 Vision Tracker project leverages the HUSKYLENS 2 module for advanced vision tracking, with steps for RTSP video streaming, barcode/QR code recognition, and face emotion detection HUSKYLENS 2 | Vision Tracker - Hackster.io. It also features a 3D-printed microscope stand HUSKYLENS 2 | Vision Tracker - Hackster.io.

The HUSKYLENS 2 boasts a Kendryte K230 dual-core 1.6GHz processor with a 6 TOPS AI accelerator for rapid on-device processing. This eliminates reliance on cloud computing and ensures low-latency performance. It's equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The module features a replaceable 2MP GC2093 camera and a 2.4-inch IPS touchscreen. It also includes a microphone, speaker, and indicator lights. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, USB-C, and Gravity interfaces for seamless integration with platforms like Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and ESP32. Beyond the pre-loaded AI models, users can deploy custom-trained models using YOLO. This allows the HUSKYLENS 2 to recognize specific objects, from components to plants. It can also combine multiple models, such as hand keypoint detection with object tracking, for more complex applications. The HUSKYLENS 2's capabilities extend to real-time video streaming via USB-C or an optional Wi-Fi module. It supports the Real-Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP), a network protocol used to control media servers and establish connections for streaming audio or video. RTSP is often used for IP cameras and supports segmented streaming. Facial emotion detection, a featured capability, is used in human-computer interaction and emotional AI. Software analyzes facial expressions to identify emotions like joy, anger, fear, and sadness. This technology can be applied in areas like intelligent protection, deception detection, and medical practice. Barcode and QR code recognition allows the device to scan various formats, including QR Code, Data Matrix, UPC, and EAN. These codes can store URLs, contact information, or Wi-Fi credentials. Applications range from everyday Android scanning to visual search and detailed product information. With the addition of a microscope lens module, the HUSKYLENS 2 can be transformed into a smart digital microscope. This enables AI-powered microscopic identification for applications in biology, quality inspection, and education. The 30x magnification lens allows the system to identify and react to specific types of cells or microorganisms. The HUSKYLENS 2 can be used to build a smart pan-and-tilt tracking system. Using servo motors and a microcontroller, the system can physically track a target, opening possibilities for smart surveillance, interactive robots, and auto-tracking cameras.
