iRacing Arcade Steam Launch

iRacing Arcade is now live on Steam, offering a more accessible, action-packed take on the iconic simulation platform. Early reviews note that while it doesn't deliver the depth of the main iRacing sim, it remains a solid pick for casual racing fans.

Developed by iRacing in collaboration with Original Fire Games, the studio behind the similarly-styled *Circuit Superstars*, iRacing Arcade aims to blend approachable, controller-first gameplay with a taste of realistic racing elements. The game launched on Steam on March 3, 2026, and is officially Steam Deck Verified. Priced at $24.99, the PC release is positioned as an inexpensive entry point to motorsports entertainment. While currently available only on Steam, console versions for PlayStation and Xbox are planned for a summer 2026 release. The gameplay departs from iRacing's hardcore simulation roots, offering a third-person, arcade-style experience with stylized, "pocket-sized" visuals. Despite its accessibility, the physics model incorporates realistic elements like fuel consumption and tire degradation. The core of the single-player experience is a career mode that involves building a customizable motorsport campus, managing team resources, and progressing through various licensed racing series. Players can race stylized versions of real-world cars from series like the FIA Formula 4 and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship on tracks including Imola and Barber Motorsports Park. Multiplayer options include online races with up to 11 other competitors and global time trial leaderboards. However, some reviews have pointed out the absence of online matchmaking lobbies and a local split-screen mode.
