Four teams penalized at Darlington

Darlington’s technical checks bit back — four NASCAR teams were hit with penalties after failing pre‑race inspection, leading to crew‑chief ejections and pit‑stall bans before Rockingham (heavy.com). The sweep changed weekend running orders and adds a wrinkle to team strategies heading into the next events (nascar.com).

The four trucks that failed pre-race inspection twice were the Nos. 10 (A.J. Allmendinger), 12 (Brenden Queen), 25 (Corey LaJoie) and the No. 1 (William Sawalich). (nascar.com) Three of Kaulig Racing’s five Ram entries — the Nos. 10, 12 and 25 — were among those flagged during Friday’s inspection. (nascar.com) NASCAR identified the truck chiefs who were removed from the event as Bayley Currey (No. 1), Ethan Hutchens (No. 10), Ryan Richmond (No. 12) and Donald Colwell (No. 25). (nascar.com) Those four teams will forfeit pit‑stall selection at the Truck Series’ next race, scheduled for Rockingham Speedway on April 3, 2026. (nascar.com) Two Team Reaume entries — the No. 22 driven by Josh Reaume and the No. 33 driven by Frankie Muniz — were ordered to start from the rear after making unapproved adjustments following practice and qualifying. (nascar.com) The penalties were announced in the inspection report tied to the Buckle Up South Carolina 200 at Darlington Raceway on March 20, 2026. (nascar.com)
