Safari India promoted Sterling Munnar as a "romantic getaway where love finds its own pace," while other shares include Napa Valley wine itineraries and Thessaloniki private escapes.
The Gili Islands are an archipelago of three small islands—Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air—located off the northwest coast of Lombok, Indonesia. A key feature of the islands is the absence of motorized vehicles; transport is limited to bicycles and horse-drawn carts called cidomos, contributing to a tranquil and romantic atmosphere. This allows couples to enjoy the sounds of the waves and a slower pace of life. Each of the three islands offers a distinct atmosphere for a romantic getaway. Gili Meno is known as the "honeymoon island" and is the quietest of the three, making it ideal for couples seeking seclusion and pristine beaches. Gili Air strikes a balance between the tranquility of Meno and the liveliness of Trawangan, offering a relaxed vibe with a good selection of restaurants and activities. The most common way to travel is by fast boat from ports such as Padang Bai, with a journey time of approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours.
