The "Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales" update for Palia, arriving on March 17, continues the Elderwood storyline, focusing on the mysteries of the Zendruu Tree and healing the forest. Players will delve into Ulfe's past, building friendships and unlocking rewards, including a new recipe and unique items. A new adventure zone called Royal Highlands is expected to be released after this update, and it will feature tombs and a mythic fantasy environment. The update also includes "Ranching Retirement Acres" to safeguard favorite animals beyond their husbandry use, along with the introduction of Wolpunny as a ranch-able animal. The setting emphasizes rustic fantasy, where ordinary villagers face challenges and discover the kingdom of Old Gwyrdolin. The book includes solo/co-op support, new character options, cooking/crafting rules, and a full campaign.
