Fortnite Showdown Pass

Fortnite’s Showdown Battle Pass is live and features unlockable outfits such as The Foundation (Reforged) and Exalted Ice King, with players choosing which of the two gets an extra style. (fortnite.com).

Fortnite just turned its season pass into a team vote with cosmetics attached. Players who buy the pass unlock outfits during the season, but the final bonus style goes to either The Foundation or Ice King based on which team wins by June 5, 2026. (fortnite.com) (epicgames.com) The pass page says the two headline unlocks are The Foundation (Reforged) and Exalted Ice King, and players are effectively choosing which side gets the extra style reward. Epic describes that choice as deciding which of the two receives an additional style. (fortnite.com) That extra style is not a personal pick saved to your account. Epic says the winning side at the end of the season unlocks one shared reward for all Battle Pass owners: either Frost-Ready Foundation or Exalted Frost Ice King. (fortnite.com) (epicgames.com) The setup is tied to Fortnite Showdown, the Battle Royale season Epic launched on March 19, 2026. In that season, players join Team Foundation or Team Ice King and push their side forward by winning rivalries in matches. (fortnite.com) Epic also layered a launch-week sales push into the pass. A community post says the Battle Pass costs 800 V-Bucks or comes with Fortnite Crew, instantly unlocks Exalted Ice King, and gave early buyers before March 26 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time a Stealth Tech Foundation bonus style plus accessories. (communities.epicgames.com) So this is not a normal Battle Pass where every cosmetic track is fixed from day one. The outfits are planned, but one end-of-season look is being decided by the player base while the season is live. (fortnite.com 1) (fortnite.com 2) Epic pushed that competition beyond the game client with a separate Showdown Global Leaderboard Challenge. The official event site says players can register with an Epic Games account, join Team Foundation or Team Ice King, and compete for rewards including a PlayStation 5 console and a GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition graphics card. (fortnite.com) By April 10, 2026, third-party trackers were showing the race as nearly even, which helps explain why Epic built the season around two legacy Fortnite figures instead of one new mascot. One live tracker listed Team Ice King at 50.2% and Team Foundation at 49.8%. (fortnite.gg) The result lands on June 5, 2026, when Epic says the winning team’s style is granted to Battle Pass owners. Until then, the pass is doing two jobs at once: selling cosmetics now and turning the season’s faction war into a live vote on which skin gets the final upgrade. (epicgames.com) (fortnite.com)
