Border2 Delivers Republic Day Hit

Border2 has emerged as a Republic Day success story for Bollywood, with Day 29 collections over 165% higher than the previous year's release. The film marks the first Republic Day success for Bollywood in three years. Overall Bollywood ticket sales are showing strong momentum, with Day 8 sales reaching 832.18K tickets and expectations to hit 1M soon.

He is joined by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, portraying army, air force, and navy officers, respectively. - As of its fourth week, the film has grossed a worldwide total of ₹478.06 crore (US$57 million). Its net collection in India stands at ₹357.99 crore. - The film's success is a significant turnaround from the 2025 Republic Day release, "Sky Force," which ended its theatrical run with a lifetime collection of ₹134.93 crore against a ₹150 crore budget. - The last major Republic Day blockbuster was 2023's "Pathaan," which shattered records with a ₹70.5 crore collection on Republic Day itself and went on to gross over ₹1000 crore globally. - "Border 2" was produced on a budget of approximately ₹275 crore, making its box office performance a profitable venture for the studio.
