New Crêpe Restaurant Opens

"That Crêpe Place" has opened a new location at The Greene shopping center. The restaurant expands local dining options with a menu of sweet and savory crepes.

This isn't the first time a crêpe restaurant with this name has set up shop at The Greene. A previous "That Crêpe Place" operated at 4474 Glengarry Drive within the shopping center for over three years. The original establishment was owned by Rodney Long and opened its doors in June 2011. It was an independently owned venture that seated about a dozen people and served both sweet and savory crêpes. That first iteration of "That Crêpe Place" closed permanently in December 2014. The closure was prompted by the owner's relocation to Japan for a different job assignment. The Greene Town Center itself is a major retail and entertainment hub in Beavercreek, a suburb of Dayton. Developed in 2006, the 1.1 million-square-foot mixed-use property features over 100 stores and restaurants, along with office space and residential units. The shopping center draws a significant number of visitors, with some reports citing more than 8.5 million annually. It serves as a retail destination for several affluent suburbs in the Dayton area. In early 2026, The Greene is also expecting the opening of Scramblers, a breakfast-focused franchise, in the space formerly occupied by Taste of Belgium. Another new addition to the area is Toasted Brunch Bar + Café, which recently opened a location near the shopping center.
