AppTweak Launches AI Agents for App Store Optimization

App Store intelligence platform AppTweak just launched three new AI agents designed to help mobile teams scale their App Store Optimization (ASO) and Apple Ads performance. The move, announced March 4, aims to automate the complex process of improving app visibility and campaign effectiveness on mobile marketplaces.

The new AI agents are named ASO Agent, Ad Agent, Reviews Agent, and Reporting Agent, each designed to tackle a specific part of the app growth workflow. They are powered by AppTweak's proprietary intelligence layer, "Atlas AI," which has been trained on over a decade of performance data from both the Apple App Store and Google Play, encompassing more than 500 million signals. For product managers, these agents automate time-consuming manual tasks like tracking keyword performance, monitoring competitor metadata changes, analyzing thousands of user reviews for sentiment trends, and compiling performance reports. The goal is to reduce hours of analysis into minutes, allowing PMs to focus on strategy rather than data compilation. The "Ad Agent" specifically connects directly to a user's Apple Ads account to provide recommendations on budget allocation and bidding strategy based on real-time campaign performance. This contrasts with generic AI models, which lack access to live campaign data and can't provide context-aware suggestions for improving return on ad spend (ROAS). This launch addresses common cross-functional challenges where marketing, product, and engineering teams can become siloed. By providing a centralized, AI-driven analysis of both organic (ASO) and paid (Apple Ads) performance, the agents create a shared data foundation for decision-making. AppTweak was founded in Brussels in 2012 by Olivier Verdin and Sebastien Dellis and has since raised $22.5 million. The company has positioned itself as a key player in the ASO tool market, competing with other major platforms like Sensor Tower and MobileAction. The broader trend sees AI becoming integral to marketing, with the "AI in marketing" market projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 26.7% by 2034. As many as 75% of companies using AI in marketing are expected to shift their staff from production tasks to more strategic activities. This move by AppTweak signifies a shift from manual, reactive ASO tactics to a more automated, predictive optimization cycle. The integration of specialized AI directly into product and marketing workflows aims to eliminate guesswork and ground strategic decisions in a unified data architecture.
