Off-White Paris Show Goes Viral
Off-White's Paris FW26 collection stole the show with ZeeNuNew modeling varsity-style street luxury looks that blend graphic tailoring and urban edge, generating up to 15 likes. The presentation highlighted the brand's continued influence on high-end streetwear and architectural fashion silhouettes.
The Fall/Winter 2026 collection, titled "Mr. Davis," draws inspiration from the revolutionary spirit of jazz legend Miles Davis and the unapologetic sensuality of funk pioneer Betty Davis. Creative director Ib Kamara channeled the genre-bending energy of Davis's 1970 album *Bitches Brew* to inform the collection's blend of structure and fluidity. Ibrahim Kamara has been the Art and Image Director for Off-White since 2022, continuing the legacy of the brand's founder, Virgil Abloh, after his passing in 2021. Kamara, who was the editor-in-chief of Dazed, had a close personal and professional relationship with Abloh and is part of a creative collective intended to steer the brand forward. The collection was presented in the courtyard of a Parisian public secondary school and featured a mix of sportswear and eveningwear. Menswear included flared denim and relaxed tailoring, while womenswear showcased strong shoulders, sculpted waists, and daring elements like hot pants, with a color palette mixing neutrals with acid blue, Kelly green, and vibrant red. Founded by Virgil Abloh in 2013, Off-White carved a unique space between streetwear and high fashion, defined by iconic elements like quotation marks, industrial zip-ties, and bold diagonal stripes. Abloh, who had a master's degree in architecture, used his multidisciplinary background to disrupt traditional luxury codes and elevate everyday garments. The appearance of "ZeeNuNew" refers to Thai actors Pruk Panich (Zee) and Chawarin Perdpiriyawong (NuNew). The duo are prominent stars in the Boys' Love (BL) drama genre, gaining international fame for their leading roles in the popular series *Cutie Pie*.
