Duolingo vacates 77,000 sq ft East Liberty HQ

Duolingo is moving out of 5900 Penn Ave., the East Liberty building that served as its Pittsburgh headquarters for about a decade, and the property is now being marketed for sale or lease. TribLive reported on May 20 that Hanna Commercial Real Estate is advertising the roughly 77,000-square-foot building as Duolingo consolidates nearby in Liberty East. Pittsburgh Business Times also reported the move this week, according to its site listing. The shift does not take Duolingo out of East Liberty. Duolingo has been expanding in Liberty East for several years.
