RedCloud Deploys Agentic AI Across Network

RedCloud's 'agentic AI' layer moves beyond the predictive analytics common in logistics to autonomous decision-making. Instead of just suggesting actions, the system is designed to execute them—autonomously managing inventory, allocating capital, and forecasting demand across its network of distributors and retailers. This distinguishes it from generative AI, which creates content, by focusing on planning and executing multi-step tasks to achieve a goal. The company's founder, Justin Floyd, is a serial entrepreneur with a 25-year history of founding and investing in tech companies, including a cloud intelligence firm and a fintech business. His motivation for RedCloud stems from firsthand experience with the supply chain struggles of small businesses, aiming to solve inefficiencies he believes cost the global supply chain $2 trillion annually in waste. RedCloud's core business is a B2B open commerce platform that digitizes trade for brands, distributors, and retailers of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) in emerging markets. The platform, which went public on Nasdaq (RCT) in March 2025, provides market intelligence and facilitates transactions for everyday products like food and toiletries, with Nigeria being a key market. The newly deployed AI, codenamed Genesis and developed in partnership with AWS and NVIDIA, is called RedAI Trading Co-Pilot. It was opened to early customer access in January 2026 for validation before a planned public launch. The system is trained on RedCloud's proprietary transaction data to provide predictive insights directly within trading workflows.
