Hyderabad SaaS Startup Wootzwork Raises $6.6M for Manufacturing Platform
Wootzwork, a Hyderabad-based SaaS startup, has raised $6.6 million to digitize and improve predictability in offshore manufacturing. The platform provides global brands with tools for order tracking, production scheduling, and vendor collaboration when sourcing from India and Southeast Asia.
- This Series A funding round was led by Z47, with continued participation from Nexus Venture Partners and AdvantEdge Founders, and the addition of new investor Stride Ventures. This brings Wootzwork's total capital raised to nearly $10 million, following a previous $3.5 million seed round. - The company was founded in 2023 by Karan Anand (CEO) and Himanshu Uniyal (COO), who have prior experience in cross-border strategy, manufacturing execution, and scaling operations. - Wootzwork aims to solve the problem of fragmented supply chains, where an estimated 15-30% of expected savings from offshoring are lost to coordination issues like delays, rework, and quality gaps. - In the last year, the company has executed manufacturing programs for more than 22 global enterprises across North America, Europe, and APAC, maintaining an on-time delivery rate of over 98%. - The platform operates on a network of over 300 suppliers, having delivered more than 30 million parts and assemblies for industries such as renewable energy, data centers, warehousing, and automotive engineering. - The new funds are earmarked for expanding the company's global engineering teams located across India, the US, UK, and Germany, and to enhance its manufacturing control systems. - Wootzwork's model provides a single point of accountability by overlaying its proprietary engineering, governance, and AI-driven execution systems on top of existing factory infrastructure.
