Jazz Reportedly Shopped Walker Kessler
The Utah Jazz reportedly shopped young center Walker Kessler, signaling a potential roster shakeup.
Despite reportedly shopping Kessler, the Jazz apparently intend to keep him long-term. Before the trade deadline, the Indiana Pacers offered two unprotected first-round picks for Kessler, but the Jazz declined. The Jazz's offseason plans involve building around Kessler, Lauri Markkanen, and Jaren Jackson Jr., whom they acquired at the trade deadline. Utah traded multiple players and three first-round picks to the Memphis Grizzlies for Jackson. After trading for Jackson Jr., the Jazz may have less cap space than initially expected. Retaining Kessler, who will be a restricted free agent this summer, won't be cheap. The Jazz also have to consider Keyonte George's upcoming extension.
