XPENG Reports 15,256 Vehicle Deliveries in February

Chinese AI mobility company XPENG announced it delivered a total of 15,256 vehicles in February 2026. The figure provides a key data point for the competitive global EV market, reflecting the company's production and sales performance for the month.

The February 2026 delivery figure represents a 49.9% decrease from the 30,453 vehicles delivered in February 2025 and a 23.8% drop from the 20,011 units sold in January 2026. This decline is attributed in part to the seasonal slowdown during the Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, which impacted production and sales across the industry. XPENG is actively pursuing an international growth strategy to counteract a competitive and challenging domestic market. In February, the company commenced global deliveries of its new P7+ model, initially shipping to 18 countries. As of the end of 2025, XPENG had expanded its presence to 60 countries with 380 overseas stores. The company is also banking on technological advancements, with plans to launch its second-generation Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model on March 2. On the same day, XPENG is set to officially release the 2026 version of its all-electric X9 MPV, which is aimed at the premium family vehicle market. The sales dip in early 2026 follows a period of significant growth for the electric vehicle maker, which saw a 570% year-over-year increase in deliveries in February 2025. However, the start of 2026 has brought challenges, including a drop in January deliveries and the announcement of an investigation by law firm Pomerantz LLP into potential securities law violations.
