Meta Bets Over $100B on AMD GPUs

Meta has agreed to a deal with AMD for up to $100 billion in GPUs and 6GW of compute, just days after expanding its Nvidia partnership. The deal, part of Meta's push to build "personal superintelligence," includes an option for Meta to acquire a 10% stake in AMD. To fund its infrastructure ambitions, Meta is reportedly slashing employee equity for the second consecutive year.
