Dicey's Pizza relocating to Lincoln Park

Dicey's Pizza & Tavern's move to Lincoln Park is a strategic repositioning by its parent company, Land and Sea Dept., which also owns Parson's Chicken & Fish. The new location at 2435 N. Halsted St. was previously a Parson's, indicating a practice of repurposing properties within their portfolio. This move follows the closure of their West Town location at 2109 W. Chicago Avenue around January 4, 2026, which had also been a former Parson's space. The original Dicey's concept was first launched in Nashville in early 2022, where it gained national recognition for its tavern-style pizza. The hospitality group, founded by Cody Hudson, Jon Martin, Robert McAdams, and Peter Toalson, brought the brand to their home base of Chicago in October 2024. The new Lincoln Park pizzeria will occupy a building that was once a LeMay Auto Parts garage. Land and Sea Dept. has a history of acquiring and transforming "weird, bad buildings," as they did with this same location for the previous Parson's establishment. The space features vaulted ceilings and garage-style doors that open to a patio. The relocation places Dicey's in a neighborhood with a consistently strong real estate market. This move is part of a larger trend of restaurant expansion on Chicago's North Side, with other new establishments also opening in the area. The new location will continue to serve Dicey's menu of tavern-style pizzas, salads, and appetizers, alongside a selection of slushy cocktails and natural wines.
