Ealing Teen Read Winners Named

Wishart's *The Murder Hypothesis* was chosen by young people in Ealing from a shortlist of six titles. The Ealing Teen Read is an annual award celebrating the best in teen literature. The other shortlisted books included *Safiyyah's War* by Hiba Noor Khan and *The Silver Chain* by Jion Sheibani. Also nominated were *Once Upon a Time in the North* by Vashti Hardy, *When Shadows Fall* by Sita Brahmachari, and *I am Lenny Brown* by Eleanor Leaper. The Ealing Teen Read award aims to encourage reading for pleasure among teenagers. It also gives young people a voice in choosing the best books for their age group. Ealing Libraries runs the Ealing Teen Read. They support reading and literacy initiatives across the borough.
