Immune Markers Linked to Pregnancy Hypertension

New research indicates a link between maternal immune system dysregulation and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP). A retrospective cohort study found that certain immune markers derived from first-trimester blood counts are associated with the later development of HDP.
