C.P. Company x Alessi at Milan

Milan Design Week begins April 20 and C.P. Company has teamed with Alessi to reimagine the ritual of morning coffee through homeware drawn from Alessi’s archive paired with clothing‑inspired pieces. (wallpaper.com)

C.P. Company and Alessi are using Milan Design Week to launch a joint collection built around coffee pots, cups and overshirts. (wallpaper.com) The project opens through an installation called “BLEND: The Kinetic Pulse of Italian Industrial Mastery” at the C.P. Company showroom on Via G. Fiamma 18 in Milan from April 21 to April 25, 2026. The collection goes on sale during Design Week at the showroom and online and in flagship stores from April 21. (cpcompany.com) Wallpaper reported the homeware side reworks Alessi archive pieces including Richard Sapper’s 9090 espresso coffee maker from 1979, Jean Nouvel’s cups, saucers and coffee spoon from 2005, and Enzo Mari’s Arran tray from 1961. C.P. Company is also releasing three new versions of its Nylon B overshirt in “Total Eclipse,” “Malachite Green” and “Deep Lavender.” (wallpaper.com) The pairing links two Italian companies that started with industrial production before becoming design brands in different categories. Alessi says its business began in 1921, while C.P. Company is framing the installation around a shared “factory culture” and “two Italian legacies.” (alessi.com; cpcompany.com) Milan Design Week runs across the city from April 20 to April 26, 2026, and brands increasingly use it to debut objects that sit between furniture, fashion and collectible design. Dezeen’s 2026 guide lists exhibitions, showroom presentations and cross-category launches across the week. (dezeen.com) Alessi has been leaning into that calendar with a broader brand reset. In April 2024, Alberto Alessi told Women’s Wear Daily the company would unveil a new logo intervention, packaging project and immersive exhibition during Design Week as part of a refresh for the 103-year-old brand. (wwd.com) C.P. Company is bringing its own house history into the collaboration through Lorenzo Osti, the son of founder Massimo Osti. He told Wallpaper he changed his mind after visiting Alessi’s metalworking operation in Omegna and seeing similarities with C.P. Company’s approach to materials that age with use. (wallpaper.com) That leaves the launch centered on a very Milan formula: an exhibition first, a limited retail drop second, and a daily ritual as the hook. Visitors can book time slots for the installation from Tuesday, April 21, through Saturday, April 25. (cpcompany.com)
