BARC Houston's regular adoption hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week. Keep in mind that hours are subject to change based on staff availability. It's always a good idea to check for updates before heading over. The adoption process can take 60-90 minutes, so make sure to arrive with enough time. The last adoption is processed at 5:00 PM. BARC provides a package of services with each adoption. This includes spay/neuter surgery, deworming, vaccinations, microchipping, and city registration. They also recommend a follow-up vet visit within 72 hours of adoption.
