Atlantis Bahamas Hosts Star-Studded Food Festival
Atlantis Paradise Island is set to host a major wine and food festival featuring culinary stars Rachael Ray, José Andrés, and Tom Colicchio. The event, one of the largest in the Caribbean, will showcase world-class food and wine pairings, tastings, and interactive sessions with celebrity chefs.
This marks the fourth year for the increasingly popular Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival, which runs from March 11 to March 15, 2026. The five-day event is designed to offer intimate experiences, allowing attendees to interact directly with culinary stars through demonstrations, beachside dinners, and exclusive tastings. The festival will feature unique, hands-on events with its headliners. Tom Colicchio, a James Beard Award-winning chef, will host a "Catch & Cook" experience where a small group will go on a luxury fishing trip and then prepare their catch. Emmy Award-winner Rachael Ray will host an exclusive wine dinner at the scenic Ocean's Edge. Internationally recognized chef and humanitarian José Andrés is set to host a lively "Paella on the Patio" event. This follows his organization World Central Kitchen's recent milestone of serving over one million meals a day in Gaza. His work providing food in crisis zones recently earned him the Ivan Allen Jr. Prize for Social Courage. The festival's lineup extends to include chefs like Aaron Sanchez and Michael Symon, who will host a "Tacos & Tequila" night featuring a performance by DJ Pauly D. Another highlight is the "Jerk Jam," a celebration of Caribbean flavors co-hosted by chef JJ Johnson and featuring the band Sugar Ray. Proceeds from the festival support the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of marine wildlife and their habitats throughout the Bahamas and the Caribbean. The foundation is involved in crucial research and restoration projects, including the establishment of a coral gene bank to combat diseases threatening the region's reefs.
