Palantir Launches Fellowship for Agentic AI Startups
Palantir is launching Startup Fellowship 002, an 8-week program offering elite cohorts hands-on support to build agentic AI products on its AIP platform. The initiative is aimed squarely at founders working on consumer and social AI prototypes.
The fellowship offers startups complete access to Palantir's platforms with no fees and zero equity dilution, aiming for 100% product acceleration. Participants get dedicated support from Palantir's Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) for solution design and pair programming. This initiative is part of the broader "Palantir for Builders" program, which extends the company's powerful data operating system, Foundry, to early-stage companies. The program is structured as a six-week, hybrid cohort, requiring at least one developer from each startup to commit full-time. It includes weekly product deep dives and daily access to a supporting team of engineers and product managers. The fellowship culminates in a Startup Showcase where participants demo their products to Palantir leadership, Fortune 500 executives, and venture capitalists. This fellowship is distinct from Palantir's other initiatives like the Meritocracy Fellowship, which targets high school graduates as an alternative to college, or the American Tech Fellowship, aimed at reskilling the American workforce with AI capabilities. The Startup Fellowship specifically seeks companies, Series B or earlier, building generational, not incremental, products. Recent alumni from the program include companies like HelmGuard AI, Superscript, and Rune Technologies. Another graduate, Parter, which is building an intelligence layer for hardware supply chains, noted the fellowship provides the infrastructure to scale securely and accelerate their mission. This ecosystem is often linked to the "Palantir Mafia," a network of alumni who have founded successful companies, fostering a culture of peer support and reinvestment.
