Fresh Hip-Hop Drops This Week

Billboard highlighted new R&B/hip-hop tracks from Lakeyah, a Juvenile & Megan Thee Stallion collab, Naomi Sharon, Chase B, Otis Kane, and Nali. HotNewHipHop shared highest-rated new releases with 21.5K views and strong engagement. OVO Sound's Naomi Sharon is making waves with "MISS THAT," described as a sizzling summer single.

The new Juvenile and Megan Thee Stallion track is a remix of "B.B.B.," a song that went viral with millennials upon its initial release. The collaboration bridges two generations of Southern hip-hop and comes from Juvenile's first solo album in a decade, titled *Boiling Point*, which is set to be released on March 26. Naomi Sharon, OVO Sound's first female signee, brings her Dutch and Caribbean heritage to a sound that blends alternative R&B with electronic influences. Her new single, "Miss That," is produced by Jordan Ullman of Majid Jordan and features a sample of the song "If You Leave Me Now" by Chicago. The Rotterdam-born Sharon debuted "Miss That" at the Telfar store in SoHo during New York Fashion Week. The track is the lead single from her forthcoming album, and she is also nominated for Best Soul/R&B/Funk Album/EP at the 2026 Edison Awards, a prestigious Dutch music prize. Chase B's new project, *BE VERY AFRAID (Vol. 1)*, marks his evolution from a behind-the-scenes DJ and producer to a full-fledged curator. The 13-track mixtape features a high-profile lineup of guests, including Travis Scott, Don Toliver, Quavo, Big Sean, Swae Lee, and Sheck Wes. Milwaukee-bred rapper Lakeyah was signed by Quality Control Music after going viral with a freestyle. A member of the 2021 XXL Freshman Class, she has previously released projects with assists from artists like Latto, Flo Milli, and Gucci Mane. Brooklyn native Nali, who is of Puerto Rican and Jamaican descent, has been gaining momentum with co-signs from artists like Khalid and Cash Cobain. Los Angeles-based singer and producer Otis Kane previously worked with artists like Julia Michaels and Wiz Khalifa before launching his solo career.
