Ferrari's 2026 Hypercar, the 499P, will defend its FIA World Endurance Championship titles with an updated livery. The design, created by Centro Stile Ferrari, pays tribute to the 312 P that dominated endurance racing until 1973. The car will feature a gloss version of Rosso Scuderia and Giallo Modena accents. The 499P retains its twin-turbo V6 engine and front axle electric motor generator unit. The internal combustion engine derives conceptually from Ferrari's roadgoing V6 architecture but is specifically engineered for endurance racing. The hybrid system deploys energy to the front axle above a regulatory speed, enabling temporary all-wheel drive. Ferrari is keeping its driver lineup consistent for the 2026 WEC season. The #50 Ferrari 499P will be driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, and Nicklas Nielsen. Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi will pilot the #51 entry. The privateer #83 499P will also return for 2026, with Yifei Ye as the confirmed driver. Robert Kubica and Phil Hanson, who partnered with Ye to win the 2025 Le Mans, may also return. The complete 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship entry list is expected soon.
