Marketing teams using GenAI daily

A survey from ProGEO.ai found that 75.9% of marketing professionals report using generative AI in their work every day. The press release presents that figure as evidence of mass adoption among marketing teams. (globenewswire.com)

A March 2026 survey from ProGEO.ai found that 75.9% of marketing professionals say they use generative artificial intelligence at work every day. (markets.financialcontent.com) ProGEO.ai said the result came from its “AI Marketing Maturity Index,” based on 112 marketing professionals surveyed at the RSAC cybersecurity conference. The company published the findings on April 13, 2026. (markets.financialcontent.com) The same survey said 91.1% of respondents have a company-paid subscription to at least one generative artificial intelligence platform, and 49.1% said their employer pays for more than one. ProGEO.ai said that points to broad tool adoption rather than dependence on a single vendor. (markets.financialcontent.com) Other marketing surveys now describe artificial intelligence as routine rather than experimental. Jasper said in its 2026 report that 91% of marketers actively use artificial intelligence in their work, up from 63% a year earlier. (jasper.ai) HubSpot’s 2026 State of Marketing Report said 80% of marketers use artificial intelligence for content creation and 75% use it for media production. The report framed the shift as a question of how teams use artificial intelligence, not whether they use it at all. (hubspot.com) The ProGEO.ai release also pointed to weak internal controls. It said 76.8% of respondents reported a corporate policy for generative artificial intelligence use, but only 43.8% said their company enforces that policy with technical controls. (markets.financialcontent.com) That gap shows up in larger industry studies too. Jasper said the top scaling constraints in 2026 are brand, legal, and compliance reviews, followed by output quality and data and privacy risks. (jasper.ai) The ProGEO.ai numbers come with a narrow sample. Its survey covered 112 people at one conference, while Marketing AI Institute said its 2025 State of Marketing AI Report drew on responses from nearly 1,900 marketers, and Jasper said its 2026 report surveyed 1,400 marketers. (markets.financialcontent.com) (marketingaiinstitute.com) (jasper.ai) Even with that limitation, the April 13 release lands in a market where multiple reports now put marketer use of artificial intelligence near or above four in five. The debate has shifted from access to governance, measurement, and whether the output is good enough to publish. (hubspot.com) (jasper.ai)
