Mack Trucks Launches New Heavy-Duty Lineup
Mack Trucks unveiled its all-new Granite® and Keystone® heavy-duty trucks at ConExpo 2026. The new vocational lineup targets the construction, mining, and logistics sectors with a focus on durability and next-generation features.
This launch represents one of the most significant product rollouts in Mack's 125-year history, according to company president Stephen Roy. It positions the Volvo subsidiary to better compete in the global heavy-duty truck market, which was valued at $329.4 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to $479.45 billion by 2034. The redesigned Granite features the new Mack MP®13 engine, which boosts fuel efficiency by up to 3% while delivering 540 horsepower. Its companion, the Keystone, is powered by the same engine and achieves up to 6% greater fuel efficiency compared to the previous Pinnacle model. Both trucks benefit from an updated mDRIVE™ automated manual transmission that produces 30% faster shifts. Inside, the Keystone's all-new galvanized steel cab is nine inches wider than previous models and features a flat-bottom steering wheel for more driver room. Standard safety features across the new lineup include front and side-curtain airbags and an E911 auto-call function that alerts emergency services after an airbag deployment. The new models are a critical part of Mack's strategy to capture a 10% share of the North American Class 8 truck market. In 2024, the company's market share stood at 6.0%. All of Mack's heavy-duty trucks for the North American market are assembled at its Lehigh Valley Operations facility in Macungie, Pennsylvania.
