Anthropic gaining via consultancies

Analysis reports that Anthropic is expanding enterprise reach through IT services firms—Accenture reportedly has 30,000 Claude‑trained practitioners, Deloitte has rolled out Claude to 470,000 employees, and Cognizant to 350,000. The pattern suggests large system integrators are becoming major distribution channels for AI models. (horsesforsources.com)

Anthropic is pushing Claude into big companies through consulting firms that already run their technology projects. (anthropic.com) Anthropic said on March 12, 2026 that it is putting $100 million into a Claude Partner Network for 2026 and scaling its partner-facing team fivefold. The program gives consulting and services firms training, technical support and joint sales help. (anthropic.com) The partner roster already includes some of the biggest information technology services firms. Accenture said on December 9, 2025 that it would train about 30,000 professionals, while Anthropic said Deloitte would make Claude available to 470,000 people and Cognizant to as many as 350,000 employees. Anthropic said partners help customers choose use cases, handle compliance, manage change inside large organizations and move projects from proof of concept to production. (anthropic.com) That role is especially important in regulated sectors. Accenture said its joint offerings with Anthropic will start in financial services, life sciences, healthcare and the public sector, and Deloitte said its Claude work will include compliance features for financial services, healthcare, life sciences and public services. (accenture.com) (anthropic.com) The consulting push has been building for nearly two years. Deloitte and Anthropic announced an alliance on July 31, 2024, then expanded it on April 2, 2025 with a certification program targeting 15,000 Deloitte practitioners before the October 6, 2025 rollout to Deloitte’s full global network. (deloitte.com 1) (deloitte.com 2) (anthropic.com) Cognizant’s November 4, 2025 announcement shows the same pattern on the engineering side. The company said it would combine Claude, Claude Code, the Model Context Protocol and Anthropic’s Agent Software Development Kit with its own platforms for coding, testing, documentation and DevOps work. (anthropic.com) Anthropic is also using the channel to widen distribution across cloud providers. The company said Claude is available on Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft, which lets consulting firms package the same model into existing client infrastructure instead of asking customers to rebuild around one vendor. (anthropic.com) The result is that Anthropic is not relying only on direct sales to chief information officers. It is turning the firms that already implement enterprise systems into a delivery network for Claude. (anthropic.com)
