RayNeo Launches Batman-Themed AR Glasses
AR wearable firm RayNeo unveiled a special Batman Edition of its new RayNeo Air 4 Pro smart glasses at MWC 2026. The new augmented reality glasses, which feature the iconic branding, have been available for purchase since February 27.
The RayNeo Air 4 Pro glasses feature dual 0.6-inch Micro-OLED displays that project a virtual screen equivalent to 201 inches. They boast a 1920x1080 resolution in 2D and 3840x1080 in 3D mode, with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz for smooth visuals. A key feature is their support for HDR10, a first for this category of AR glasses, which allows for a wider range of colors and deeper contrasts. Audio is handled by a quad-speaker system tuned by Bang & Olufsen, designed to provide an immersive open-ear sound experience. The glasses weigh 76 grams and connect to devices like smartphones, laptops, and gaming consoles via a USB-C cable that supports DisplayPort. They are compatible with prescription lenses through a magnetic insert. The Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, where the glasses were unveiled, is the world's largest event for the mobile and connectivity industry, running from March 2 to 5, 2026. The 2026 edition marks the 20th consecutive year the event has been held in Barcelona. RayNeo is an AR-focused company incubated by TCL Electronics, a major consumer electronics manufacturer. In early 2026, RayNeo raised $143 million in funding from investors that included state-owned telecom giants China Mobile and China Unicom. According to Counterpoint Research, RayNeo held a 24% share of the global AR glasses market in the third quarter of 2025. The special Batman Edition is available in two themes: the "Justice" edition for Batman and the "Chaos" edition for the Joker. While the underlying glasses are the same, the packaging and a detachable mask accessory are themed accordingly. The standard Air 4 Pro is priced at $249, with the Batman edition costing $269.
