Jampack AI Raises $3.2M for CPG Automation

New York-based Jampack AI raised a $3.2 million seed round to automate wholesale operations for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands. The vertical SaaS platform targets back-office workflows like manual order management and distributor communication. The company, which is actively hiring technical roles, reports that it already processes over $500 million in annual transactions.

- The seed round was led by Maveron, a venture capital firm co-founded by former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz, with participation from Timber Grove Ventures and other industry angels. - Co-founder and CEO Matteo Rossant previously led logistics and sales operations at the fast-growing food company N!CK'S, where he helped scale the business from zero to $40 million in sales in under 18 months. This direct experience with the pain points of scaling CPG operations informed the creation of Jampack AI. - The company was co-founded by Rossant and Rezi Tsulukidze in 2023. - Jampack AI's platform uses AI agents to automate workflows like purchase order intake, freight scheduling, and invoicing, aiming to reduce manual work for brands by at least 20 hours per week. - The company is actively hiring for "Founding Engineer — AI Agents" and "Founding Engineer — Platform" roles, appealing to engineers interested in building AI agent frameworks and core platform infrastructure. - Early customers include prominent CPG brands such as Fishwife, Immi, and Path Water. - The platform is designed to integrate with existing systems, including spreadsheets and full ERPs, rather than requiring a complete replacement of a company's current tech stack.
