LG Unveils Premium Home Appliances
LG Electronics is unveiling its next-generation LG SIGNATURE premium appliance collections at the KBIS 2026 trade show. The company also expanded its LG Pro Builder portfolio with the addition of the design-driven appliances. The move aims to increase homebuilder access to high-end appliance solutions.
- The new LG SIGNATURE collection is organized into three distinct design aesthetics: "Seamless" for a built-in look, "Iconic" featuring distinctive metal accents, and "Tailored" which offers customizable design elements. - A central feature of the new lineup is "Gourmet AI" technology in the oven, which uses an internal camera to identify over 85 different dishes and automatically suggest the ideal cooking settings. - The new LG SIGNATURE refrigerator incorporates conversational AI using Large Language Model (LLM) technology, allowing users to interact with it using natural language. - The refrigerator's "AI Fresh" feature monitors usage patterns to anticipate door openings and pre-cools the interior up to two hours beforehand to maintain temperature stability. - The Smart InstaView™ refrigerator includes an internal camera and ThinQ™ Food technology to help manage inventory, suggest recipes, and offer ingredient substitutions. - For the building industry, the inclusion of LG SIGNATURE appliances in the LG Pro Builder portfolio provides a new premium tier of options for builders and designers, complementing the existing LG and SKS brands. - The oven's "AI Browning" feature actively monitors baking and sends a notification to the user's phone via the ThinQ app when the desired level of browning is achieved. - Beyond the kitchen, LG is also expanding its luxury offerings with the first-ever SKS laundry lineup, which includes the all-in-one WashCombo™ and a large-capacity dryer.
