Coachella to host EDM festival
Goldenvoice is launching a new EDM festival called Head Trip at the Coachella site with Calvin Harris, Skrillex, and Swedish House Mafia.
The festival is set to debut in spring 2027 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, the same location as Coachella and Stagecoach. Goldenvoice, the company behind Coachella, is organizing the event. Head Trip aims to deliver a different experience from other EDM festivals by focusing on a more curated lineup and unique stage designs. The specific dates for the festival in 2027 have not yet been announced. Other artists expected to perform include Gesaffelstein, Eric Prydz, and Charlotte de Witte. This marks a significant expansion for Goldenvoice into the EDM festival market.
