Iron Maiden European Tour Lineup

Iron Maiden announced their upcoming European tour will feature major support acts including Anthrax, Megadeth, Trivium, and Evergrey. The lineup promises to deliver what organizers call a "hell of a show" on every date of the tour.

- The "Future Past" tour centered on a unique theme, combining the band's most recent album, *Senjutsu* (2021), with a focus on the 1986 album *Somewhere In Time*. Bassist Steve Harris noted that the *Somewhere In Time* tour was never filmed and that the band had received many fan requests for its tracks over the years. - After decades of fan requests, the tour featured the first-ever live performances of the epic track "Alexander the Great" from the *Somewhere in Time* album. - The setlist for the tour was notable for omitting several of the band's most famous staples, including "Run To The Hills" and "The Number of the Beast," to make room for newer material and deep cuts. - The 33-show European leg of the tour in 2023 was a significant commercial success, with more than 750,000 fans in attendance across the continent. - Drummer Nicko McBrain performed on the tour after suffering a stroke in January 2023. The tour's final show in São Paulo on December 7, 2024, marked his retirement from touring with the band after 42 years. - While the card mentions specific support acts, the official European dates in 2023 featured German gothic metal band Lord of the Lost and English melodic metalcore group The Raven Age on select dates. - Iron Maiden has already announced its next global outing, the "Run For Your Lives World Tour," scheduled to begin in May 2025 and run into 2026, celebrating the band's 50-year history.
