Legal Tech Firm Casepoint Taps New CPO
Legal tech company Casepoint has appointed Pete Feinberg as its new Chief Product Officer. Feinberg, a veteran of enterprise SaaS and AI, is tasked with advancing the company's unified, AI-powered platform for legal and compliance teams.
Feinberg's appointment follows Casepoint's recent merger with government process management software provider OPEXUS, a deal backed by a majority investment from software investment firm Thoma Bravo in January 2025. The combined entity aims to create a comprehensive platform for both government and commercial customers, integrating Casepoint's AI-powered data discovery with OPEXUS's workflow automation. Before joining Casepoint, Pete Feinberg served as Chief Product Officer at Consilio, a global leader in eDiscovery and legal consulting services. His experience there involved leading product strategy for a wide array of legal technology solutions, giving him a background in the complex demands of enterprise and government clients. The move places Feinberg at the helm of product strategy for a company with significant government ties, including Department of Defense Impact Level 5 and 6 security certifications. This positions the newly merged company to deepen its work with federal agencies on sensitive data workflows, from Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests to large-scale investigations. This leadership change occurs as the legal tech industry shifts from experimental AI to embedding practical, AI-powered tools directly into critical workflows. The focus is on enhancing efficiency and managing massive datasets in high-stakes environments, where accuracy and security are paramount. Feinberg is tasked with steering Casepoint's platform to meet these demands, moving beyond "AI hype" to deliver measurable results.
