Steve Aoki's Dim Mak 30th Tour
Steve Aoki announced his Dim Mak 30th anniversary Phase 2 tour with tickets now on sale. The tour includes a stop at Clayton's Beach Bar in South Padre Island, Texas on March 16, among other coastal venues.
- Steve Aoki founded the Dim Mak label from his college dorm room at UC Santa Barbara in 1996. The name "Dim Mak" is a reference to a martial arts death touch made famous by his childhood hero, Bruce Lee. - Initially, the label focused on punk and indie rock, with its first release being a 7-inch record from the hardcore band Stickfigurecarousel.
