SFMOMA Offers $15 Admission Through Mid-April
The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is offering discounted admission for just $15 per person through April 17. The spring deal provides a budget-friendly opportunity for families to access the museum's world-class, interactive exhibits.
This limited-time discount cuts the regular adult admission price of $30 in half. Seniors (65 and older) normally pay $25, and young adults aged 19-24 pay $23 for a standard ticket. The promotion coincides with the final weeks of the special exhibition "KAWS: FAMILY," which features pop culture-inspired characters. Also on view is "Alejandro Cartagena: Ground Rules," a photography exhibition exploring life in Mexico, which closes on April 19. Admission for all visitors 18 and younger is always free, making this a particularly budget-friendly opportunity for families to visit the museum. While the popular "First Thursdays" free admission program for Bay Area residents is currently on pause, SFMOMA still offers several free-to-see art-filled spaces on its first and second floors that do not require a ticket. The museum's permanent collection includes seven floors of art, featuring renowned artists like Andy Warhol and Alexander Calder, and the largest living wall in the United States. This spring deal is offered as the museum prepares to unveil "Reimagined: The Fisher Collection at 10," which will display nearly 250 artworks across four floors.
