Dutch E-Commerce Logistics Firms Partner
Last-mile delivery provider GOFO and fulfillment specialist QLS have entered into a strategic partnership to strengthen e-commerce logistics in the Netherlands. The collaboration aims to manage growing e-commerce volumes in the region. GOFO is described as a fast-growing global provider, while QLS is a leading Dutch logistics company.
The Netherlands' e-commerce market is a significant force in the region, valued at €36.5 billion and representing 31% of the country's total retail spending as of 2026. Projections show continued growth, with ABN AMRO forecasting a 6 percent increase in online purchases for 2026, following a 6.6 percent rise in 2025. GOFO has been actively building its Dutch presence ahead of this partnership. The company established its first sorting center in Amsterdam in April 2025 and followed up by launching two additional delivery centers in Boxtel and Rotterdam in the third quarter of 2025. Combined, the new Boxtel and Rotterdam facilities can process up to 140,000 parcels daily. QLS, founded in 1990, brings a long-established fulfillment infrastructure to the table, catering to small and medium-sized online stores. The company operates highly automated fulfillment centers in Dordrecht and Alblasserdam and was acquired by Waterland Private Equity Investments in August 2024 to support ambitious growth plans. This collaboration will integrate GOFO's last-mile delivery network with QLS's extensive fulfillment services, impacting more than 3,000 webshops. QLS clients will gain access to GOFO's services, including real-time tracking and photo-based proof of delivery, through API integration. The partnership aims to enhance delivery flexibility and reliability in a market where Dutch consumers have high expectations for transparency and speed.
