Hyphen SCS has started showing a freight analytics product that ties warehouse activity to dispatch and route planning, extending the company beyond warehouse listings and fulfilment services. (hyphenscs.com 1) (hyphenscs.com 2) The product page identifies the tool as “Lynkit XBL,” a freight intelligence and benchmarking platform on Hyphen SCS’s marketplace. Hyphen’s main site says the company serves more than 110 active clients and offers warehousing, fulfilment, manpower, logistics, compliances and infrastructure across India. (hyphenscs.com 1) (hyphenscs.com 2) Hyphen says the platform is powered by Xeneta’s freight data network, which tracks ocean and air freight rates for shippers, freight forwarders and carriers. Xeneta describes its own product as a rate benchmarking and market analytics platform for ocean and air freight. (hyphenscs.com) (xeneta.com) In plain terms, freight benchmarking is a price check for logistics: companies compare what they pay on a route against broader market data before they book, negotiate or reroute cargo. The World Bank uses the same benchmarking idea at country level in its Logistics Performance Index, which compares logistics systems across 160 economies. (worldbank.org) (xeneta.com) That matters for Hyphen because its existing business already spans warehouse discovery, warehouse software, transport services and fulfilment. Its website says customers can compare more than 65,000 warehouse listings across 992 cities in India, giving the company a large operating footprint to pair with analytics. (hyphenscs.com 1) (hyphenscs.com 2) Hyphen has been moving in that direction for months. In a March 10, 2026 post about a partnership with the Warehousing Association of India, the company said it wanted to “digitize, optimize and automate” India’s warehousing and logistics ecosystem. (hyphenscs.com) The company has also been pitching more software-led products alongside physical warehouse services. A September 16, 2025 company post said Hyphen was a finalist in the NASSCOM Emerge 50 Deep Tech awards with an artificial-intelligence warehousing suite that included a compliance optimizer and a dynamic space planner. (hyphenscs.com) Hyphen’s public materials still leave gaps. The marketplace page for Lynkit XBL says the tool is aimed at Indian shippers, exporters, importers and freight forwarders, but it does not list pricing, named customers, or technical details on how warehouse, dispatch and routing data are combined inside the product. (hyphenscs.com) What Hyphen is signaling is straightforward: it wants to sell not only warehouse capacity and logistics services, but also the software layer that helps customers decide where freight should move and what those moves should cost.
