Conor Benn Faces Regis Prograis

Conor Benn will fight former world champion Regis Prograis on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11 in London. Benn, whose only career loss came against Chris Eubank Jr. in 2024, seeks to climb rankings while Prograis aims to bounce back after losing his WBC super-lightweight title to Devin Haney.

This fight marks Conor Benn's return to a major London stage, his first in the UK in over three years, following a period of fighting in the US. The bout takes place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the same venue where Benn previously defeated Chris Eubank Jr. Benn's career has been shadowed by a doping controversy that led to the cancellation of his original fight with Eubank Jr. in 2022. He tested positive for trace amounts of clomiphene, a fertility drug, which he attributed to a "highly-elevated consumption of eggs." The World Boxing Council (WBC) later reinstated him, citing no conclusive evidence of intentional ingestion. Regis Prograis, known as "Rougarou," is a two-time world champion at super-lightweight, having held the WBA and WBC titles. He boasts a high knockout ratio, with 24 of his 30 wins coming by way of stoppage. This fight is a "full-circle moment" for Prograis, who notes that Benn previously fought on one of his undercards. Prograis is on a comeback trail after losing his WBC title to Devin Haney and subsequently suffering another defeat to Jack Catterall in October 2024. He most recently secured a unanimous decision win against Joseph Diaz in August 2025. The main event of the evening features Tyson Fury's return from retirement to face Arslanbek Makhmudov. The entire event, promoted by The Ring, will be broadcast globally on Netflix.
