Baby Keem Drops New Album

Baby Keem headlined New Music Friday on February 20 with his album *CA$INO* featuring Kendrick Lamar, Che Ecru, Momo Boyd & Too $hort, alongside Larry June, Curren$y & The Alchemist's *Spiral Staircases*. New singles include Don Toliver's "CREEPIN," SZA's "Save The Day," and Ty Dolla $ign & Leon Thomas' "Miss U 2," with hip-hop commentary discussing expectations around Keem's rising profile.

- Baby Keem's debut studio album, *The Melodic Blue* (2021), debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 53,000 copies in its first week. The album received generally positive reviews from critics. - He is the cousin of rapper Kendrick Lamar, and the two have collaborated on several tracks, including the Grammy Award-winning "Family Ties" for Best Rap Performance. Keem was also featured on and produced tracks for Lamar's 2022 album, *Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers*. - In 2020, it was announced that Baby Keem had partnered with PGLang, a creative services company founded by Kendrick Lamar and Dave Free. His debut album was released as a joint venture between PGLang and Columbia Records. - Prior to his debut album, Keem gained significant attention with his 2019 mixtape *Die for My Bitch*, which featured the sleeper hit "Orange Soda."
