Good Girl's Guide Season 2 Drops First Look

The BBC drama *A Good Girl's Guide to Murder*, praised as the "best murder mystery show in years," has dropped a first look at its second season. Emma Myers returns as teenage sleuth Pip Fitz-Amobi in the Bristol-filmed series, with the new season expected to premiere later this year. The show has generated strong anticipation among critics and fans for its clever plotting and atmospheric production.

The first season of *A Good Girl's Guide to Murder* quickly found a substantial audience, debuting at the top of Netflix's Global Top 10 TV (English) list upon its release. In its first week, from July 29 to August 4, 2024, the series garnered 7.4 million views and 34 million hours watched. The show's popularity also spurred a renewed interest in Holly Jackson's novel, sending it back to the top of the New York Times Bestseller list. Season 2 will adapt the second book in Jackson's series, "Good Girl, Bad Blood." The plot follows Pip as she is drawn into a new investigation when Jamie Reynolds, the brother of her friend Connor, goes missing. Despite her vow to quit detective work after the traumatic events of the first case, Pip takes on the search when the police are slow to act. The upcoming season will introduce several new faces to the cast. Jack Rowan joins as Pip's new neighbor, Charlie Green, while Eden H. Davies will play the missing Jamie Reynolds. Misia Butler has been cast as Stanley Forbes, and Freddie England will play Robin. Alongside Emma Myers and Zain Iqbal, who plays Ravi Singh, several other cast members from the first season are set to return. Viewers can expect to see Asha Banks as Cara, Yali Topol Margalith as Lauren, Jude Morgan-Collie as Connor, and Henry Ashton as Max Hastings. The new season is confirmed for a 2026 release.
