UFC 327 Adds Key Lightweight Bouts
UFC 327 will feature two pivotal lightweight matchups: Beneil Dariush vs. Manuel Torres and Mateusz Gamrot vs. Esteban Ribovics. Both fights have major implications for the crowded 155-pound title picture and add significant depth to the April 11 Miami card.
Beneil Dariush, currently ranked #8 in the lightweight division, is on the path to rebuilding a win streak after a victory over Renato Moicano in June 2025. This win snapped a two-fight losing skid and re-established him as a top contender in the crowded 155-pound title picture. Before these setbacks, Dariush had been on an impressive eight-fight winning streak. His opponent, Manuel "El Loco" Torres, holds the #14 spot in the rankings as of early February 2026. Torres is known for his explosive fighting style, with all five of his UFC victories coming by first-round stoppage. This aggressive approach has earned him a Performance of the Night bonus in each of those wins. The other key lightweight bout features #7 ranked Mateusz Gamrot, a former KSW two-division champion. "Gamer" is looking to bounce back from a recent loss and continue his climb up the lightweight ladder. Known for his high-level wrestling, Gamrot has won eight of his twelve fights in the UFC. Facing Gamrot is the unranked but dangerous Esteban Ribovics. The Argentine known as "El Gringo" has a reputation for exciting fights, earning "Fight of the Night" honors in his last two outings. Ribovics has won four of his most recent five fights and will be looking to break into the top 15 with a victory over a highly-ranked opponent.
