CoreWeave Investors Face Lawsuit Deadline

The law firm Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP announced that investors who purchased CoreWeave, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRWV) securities between March 28, 2025, and December 15, 2025, have until March 13, 2026, to seek appointment as lead plaintiff in a securities class action lawsuit. The notice is for investors who experienced substantial losses during the class period.

- The lawsuit alleges CoreWeave overstated its ability to meet customer demand and downplayed the risks of relying on a single third-party data center supplier. - A pivotal event was the termination of CoreWeave's merger agreement with digital infrastructure company Core Scientific on October 30, 2025, after Core Scientific's stockholders voted against the deal. This news was followed by a more than 6% drop in CoreWeave's share price. - On November 10, 2025, CoreWeave lowered its 2025 revenue guidance, citing "temporary delays related to a third-party data center developer who is behind schedule." This announcement led to a stock price drop of over 16%. - A December 15, 2025, report in *The Wall Street Journal* revealed that construction of a large data center cluster in Denton, Texas, being built by Core Scientific for CoreWeave to lease to OpenAI, was delayed by several months. - The delays at the Denton facility were attributed to heavy rains and winds that prevented the pouring of concrete for about 60 days, as well as subsequent revisions to design plans. - Following the news of the data center delays, CoreWeave's stock fell an additional 3.4%, contributing to a total market capitalization loss of approximately $14 billion between November 10 and December 16, 2025. - The class action lawsuit, captioned *Masaitis v. CoreWeave, Inc.*, No. 26-cv-00355, is pending in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. - The lawsuit names CoreWeave and certain of its executives as defendants, charging them with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
