Wellness & Waves returns

Santa Monica’s free ‘Wellness & Waves’ community fitness series returns April 4 with Saturday morning sessions on the pier — a timely IRL activation for creators who want local outdoor collabs. (patch.com)

The Pier’s official calendar lists Wellness & Waves as a 26-week series running through October 17, 2026 with weekly 8–10 a.m. sessions. (santamonicapier.org) Sessions begin with an 8–9 a.m. community run that meets beneath the Santa Monica Yacht Harbor sign. (santamonicapier.org) From 9–10 a.m. the program shifts to yoga and yoga‑Pilates fusion at the pier’s west end — that class area is regularly described as behind the Mariasol restaurant. (eventbrite.com) Organizers use a rotating lineup of Westside instructors; an April–May lineup published last season included Beau Campbell, Leah Zaccaria, Jackie Hinton, Britt Abundant, Kari Jaffe and Kyle Descher. (dolosangeles.com) Participation is free and the Pier’s event page directs attendees to register through the Pier website or Eventbrite, with Eventbrite noting the series excludes some holiday weekends. (santamonicapier.org) Last season’s finale recorded nearly 3,000 participants and featured a UCLA Health “Takeover” on Oct. 11, 2025 that included pet therapy, on-site health activities, and instructors Mandy Muenzer, Jacinta Elijah, Tiffany Caronia and Jess Ray. (smmirror.com) Pacific Park provided promotional discounts during the finale (20% off unlimited-ride wristbands) and promotional materials describe Wellness & Waves as a continuation of the Pier’s pre‑pandemic “Roga” run‑plus‑yoga tradition.
