The partnership arrives as the Crypto Asset Reporting Framework (CARF) and DAC8 are set to take effect, mandating crypto exchanges, brokers, and wallet providers to collect and report user tax data to authorities. CARF, endorsed by over 58 countries including the UK, Canada, and Australia, standardizes the automatic exchange of tax information on crypto transactions. DAC8 is the EU's implementation of the OECD's CARF, effective January 1, 2026, requiring crypto-asset service providers to report crypto transactions to EU tax authorities. Ledgible, founded in 2016, is a digital asset tax and accounting platform designed for professionals, enterprises, and institutions. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the company offers solutions for tax information reporting, data management, and enterprise accounting. Ledgible's platform supports various exchanges and platforms, streamlining digital asset data for tax form generation, cost basis tracking, and audit compliance. Label specializes in custom labels, offering services such as prototype labels and high-quality UL-approved labels. The Label Company was founded in 1986 in Camarillo, California. They focus on durable and compliant labels for various industries. Through the partnership, Ledgible's platform will ingest and normalize digital asset transaction data, while Label will manage data due diligence, digital form collection, and generate jurisdiction-specific XML files for reporting. This aims to provide an end-to-end solution, reducing operational burden and strengthening auditability. The collaboration seeks to bridge the gap between blockchain activity and global compliant information reporting.
