LGMG Unveils New Construction Equipment at CONEXPO
At the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 trade show in Las Vegas, equipment manufacturer LGMG introduced three new models. The new offerings include aerial work platforms and telehandlers, signaling the company's continued global expansion in the heavy machinery market.
The new 125-foot telescopic boom lift, designated the T125J-H, is engineered for large-scale projects such as stadiums and industrial facilities, featuring dual-load capacities and 45% gradeability. For material handling, the new H1256 telehandler is powered by a Cummins engine and aimed at infrastructure and roofing construction. The third debut is the X7 series electric counterbalanced forklift, which offers a universal 80V battery platform compatible with both lead-acid and lithium-ion power. Alongside the new machines, LGMG launched a global service brand called "LGMG ProCare." The company has set specific performance targets for this new service, including 90% parts delivery within 48 hours and 90% fault resolution within the same timeframe in key markets. This initiative is designed to standardize aftermarket support and increase equipment uptime for customers globally. The product launch underscores LGMG's strategic focus on the North American market, with equipment specifically engineered to meet regional performance and regulatory standards. This follows the company's significant investment of over $140 million in a new manufacturing facility in Nuevo Leon, Mexico, which opened in late 2023 to produce scissor and articulated lifts closer to its North American client base. LGMG, a subsidiary of China's Lingong Group, is part of a consolidated brand strategy that was globally introduced at CONEXPO. The company ranks among the top five manufacturers of aerial work platforms in China and has been expanding its global footprint, with products now sold in over 60 countries. Its main competitors in the aerial lift and telehandler space include established American brands like JLG and Genie, as well as Canada's Skyjack.
