Zoomlion Starts 2026 With $1.2B in Shipments
Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer Zoomlion has kicked off 2026 with a massive global sales push. The company announced it has already shipped equipment worth $1.2 billion to start the year. The deliveries include over 15,000 units sent to customers across more than 40 international markets, signaling strong global demand for industrial machinery.
This aggressive start to the year builds on a period of significant international expansion for Zoomlion. In the first half of 2025, the company's international revenue surged to 13.815 billion yuan, a 15% increase year-over-year, accounting for over 55% of its total revenue. This growth trajectory has been consistent, with overseas revenue in 2023 increasing by 79.2% to 17.9 billion RMB. The company's global push is underpinned by a strategy it calls "end-to-end, digitalization, and localization." This approach focuses on directly connecting with customers through digital platforms and establishing a strong local presence in key markets. As of mid-2025, Zoomlion had over 430 outlets and approximately 7,800 overseas employees, with more than 5,000 being local hires. Zoomlion has been actively expanding its physical presence and partnerships globally. The company has established new subsidiaries in markets like Malaysia, Nigeria, and Oman, and opened new retail locations including an agricultural machinery store in Laos and an earthmoving machinery store in Australia. In Europe, new factories are under construction in Hungary and Germany to enhance their manufacturing footprint. This international sales drive is not limited to a single product line. While Zoomlion is a leader in concrete and crane machinery, it has seen strong momentum in aerial work platforms, earthmoving equipment, and agricultural machinery. In the first half of 2025, revenue from its earthmoving machinery grew by 22%. The company has also secured the highest market share for engineering cranes in Turkey and Central Asia.
