R n B Restaurant Group to open in Canton

R n B Restaurant Group, a family-run company known for its dumpling soup, will open a new location at The Shops at Farmington Valley in Canton. The shopping center is also slated to add a Ramen & Bao restaurant in 2026, diversifying its dining options.

- The restaurant, officially named Ramen & Bao, also goes by "R&B" and specializes in Asian-inspired cuisine like ramen bowls, steamed bao buns, and handmade soup dumplings. - This Canton location will be the third for the group, which currently operates a restaurant in Oxford and has another planned for Cheshire. - The menu combines Japanese, Taiwanese, and other Asian influences, featuring items like house-made broths, scallion pancake wraps, and Taiwanese fried chicken. - The Shops at Farmington Valley, owned by Massachusetts-based WS Development, has been actively expanding its tenant roster. - Recent additions to the open-air shopping center in 2025 included Sweetgreen, Warby Parker, FP Movement, and J.Crew Factory. - Another popular eatery, Shake Shack, is also scheduled to open at the shopping center in the summer of 2026, joining the new Ramen & Bao. - The General Manager of The Shops at Farmington Valley, Elizabeth Ackerman, noted the recent leasing momentum aims to create an unparalleled mix of fashion, dining, and lifestyle experiences. - Ramen & Bao will be located in a courtyard space across from the Blo Blow Dry Bar.
