New Honky-Tonk Opens on River Walk
The Rowdy Spur, a honky-tonk bar, has opened in the former home of Pat O’Brien’s on the River Walk.
The Rowdy Spur is brought to you by local restaurateur Lisa Asvestas, who also owns Ácenar on the River Walk. The new bar features live music, a large dance floor, and a menu of classic Texas fare. The space was previously occupied by Pat O'Brien's, a New Orleans-themed bar that closed in 2023 after more than 30 years in business.
