Young the Giant Summer Tour

Young the Giant announced their "Victory Garden" amphitheater tour, set to hit 40 North American cities this summer in support of their forthcoming sixth album, also titled *Victory Garden*, releasing May 1st.

- The upcoming album's theme of "radical empathy" and collective action is a shift from their previous record, 2022's *American Bollywood*, which was a four-part epic exploring lead singer Sameer Gadhia's identity as the son of Indian immigrants. - The title *Victory Garden* is a reference to the gardens planted during wartime to bolster community food supplies, with the band using it as a metaphor for a call to "collective, conscious action" in a time of hopelessness. - This marks the band's second major North American summer tour in recent years, following a 2023 run with German indie band Milky Chance that supported the *American Bollywood* album. - The band, which formed in Irvine, California, in 2004, consists of Sameer Gadhia (vocals), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh (bass), and François Comtois (drums). - The group first gained widespread recognition with their 2010 self-titled debut album, which featured the platinum-certified alternative rock singles "My Body" and "Cough Syrup". - *Victory Garden* will be the band's first release on the Fearless Records label and will feature 11 new tracks.
